MottaroneThe Mottarone ( m. 1492 m asl ) that divides Lake Maggiore from Lake Orta, is considered one of the most beautiful natural balconies in the whole Piedmont. Its orographical formation allows a 360 ° from the Po Valley to the summits of the Alps. The eye of the visitor is struck by the summit of Monte Rosa and by the seven lakes ( Lake Maggiore, Lake Orta, Lake Mergozzo, Lake Varese, Lake Comabbio, Lake Monate, Lake Biandronno ).
